Operating Data & Historian Integration
Alarm, event, trend, and operating-parameter capture for thermal oxidizers, furnaces, scrubbers, and industrial process equipment. Systems are configured around facility-defined monitoring, retention, and reporting needs.
Make operating evidence easier to retrieve and understand
Plant teams often need to reconstruct what the equipment was doing before a trip, during a test window, or after an operating change. VIR Automation integrates the controls-side data needed to compare command, feedback, alarm, sequence, and process response.
The facility remains responsible for defining permit, CAM, environmental, quality, and record-retention requirements. Historian integration supports those workflows but does not certify data quality, validate a permit condition, or establish compliance by itself.
What We Integrate
Process Historians
Tag collection, timestamps, sampling intervals, retention, and organized history for facility-selected operating parameters.
Alarm and Event Records
Alarm occurrence, return-to-normal, acknowledgment, sequence state, and related equipment status for troubleshooting review.
Trend Views
Command-versus-feedback and process-response trends that help operators and maintenance teams understand equipment behavior.
PLC/HMI/SCADA Data Flow
Defined tag mapping and communications between controllers, operator interfaces, historians, and plant data systems.
Facility-Defined Reports
Report views and exports built from approved tag, calculation, retention, and review requirements supplied by the facility.
Data-Quality Checks
Scaling, units, timestamp, missing-data, communication, and calibration-status visibility within the controls integration scope.
Implementation Approach
Define the Requirement
Use facility-supplied monitoring, reporting, permit, CAM, quality, OEM, and operational requirements to identify the needed data.
Map the Signals
Confirm source tags, units, scaling, timestamps, quality indicators, sampling, and communications paths.
Configure and Test
Build approved historian, HMI, SCADA, alarm, trend, and export functions and verify them against known source values.
Document the Handoff
Record tag definitions, data paths, test results, open holds, backups, and facility review responsibilities.
