Burner Management Systems (BMS)
Burner management programming and interface support for approved gas-fired equipment. Flame-supervision, purge, permissive, trip, reset, and modulation functions must follow the applicable equipment basis defined by the responsible facility, OEM, and retained qualified professionals; final compliance remains their responsibility.
Burner controls made visible from permissives through shutdown.
The BMS sequence view shows the order of events that operators and maintenance teams care about: permissives, purge, ignition, run state, and fault handling.
- Field permissives and flame safeguard status tied into PLC/HMI visibility.
- Pre-purge, pilot, main flame, and shutdown states presented as a clear sequence.
- Fault response and alarm context kept visible for faster troubleshooting.
Controls Capabilities
We implement combustion logic that prioritizes safe operation from light-off through shutdown, with Allen-Bradley and Siemens implementations that fit existing HMI and SCADA architectures. Final compliance review remains with the customer, OEM, and their retained licensed professionals.
Flame Supervision
UV/IR detector integration, flame failure response, and dependable fault handling.
Ignition Sequencing
Pre-purge, pilot ignition, main flame establishment, and repeatable restart logic.
Safe Shutdown Logic
E-stop response, trip handling, pressure proving, and fail-safe valve state control.
Combustion Control & Platform Integration
Air/fuel ratio, O2 trim, and BMS logic deployed on ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and Siemens platforms.
Equipment Types
Our burner management work is strongest on thermal oxidizers, RTOs, furnaces, kilns, ovens, and atmosphere systems. Related combustion-equipment work is accepted only when the applicable equipment, code, safety, OEM, and design-of-record basis is supplied and the controls boundary is clearly defined.
Thermal Oxidizers & RTOs
Combustion chamber control, HGBP strategy, and valve-related safety sequencing.
Industrial Furnaces
Multi-zone burner management with atmosphere, temperature, and permissive control.
Atmosphere Generator Systems
Gas-train permissives, pressure proving, alarm handling, operator visibility, and furnace interlocks for exothermic and endothermic atmosphere generator integration.
Boilers & Steam Generators
BMS experience developed on TO/RTO systems can support boiler combustion-interface work when the project-specific equipment and code basis is supplied and qualified review responsibilities are defined.
Other Approved Gas-Fired Equipment
Controls-interface and operator-visibility support within a supplied equipment-specific combustion and safety basis.
