Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
VIR Automation, LLC ("VIR Automation," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Information We Collect
- Contact form data. If you submit a contact form, we may collect the name, email address, phone number, company, facility location, equipment type, current need, controls platform, and message you provide. This data is transmitted to our third-party form processor (Formspree) and used to evaluate and respond to your inquiry.
- Server logs. Our web host may record standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and operational purposes. These logs are retained per our hosting provider's standard policy and are not sold or shared.
- Analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand site usage and measure actions such as contact-page visits, form starts, form submissions, and click-to-call activity. The Google tag may load with analytics and advertising storage denied; storage is granted only after a visitor accepts the cookie banner. Pseudonymous usage data is processed by Google to help us improve the website.
2. Cookies and Tracking
This site uses Google Consent Mode with Google Analytics 4. Analytics and advertising storage remain denied unless a visitor selects Accept. Your cookie choice is stored locally in the browser so the site can remember it. If accepted, Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visitors and sessions.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to project inquiries and service requests.
- To maintain the security and performance of our website.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with third-party service providers necessary to operate the site: Formspree for contact forms and Google Analytics for website usage analytics. Each provider is contractually obligated to handle data appropriately.
5. Security
We implement reasonable technical measures to protect information in transit, including HTTPS encryption. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for business and professional use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
